Strongman training involves building overall strength and explosive power developed through lifts, cardiovascular conditioning, and grip strength. Grip strength must also be developed. Equipment includes logs, tires, yokes, farmer's walk, stones, grip devices, etc.
Strength training uses resistance to increase muscle tissue and movement efficiency. Strength training is key for a fitness program. It burns calories, builds lean muscle, and reduces body fat.
Cardio can make or break you. It's important to know the benefits and different ways to make cardio more interesting. Whether you use a treadmill, prowler, ropes, Jacobs ladder, jump rope, kettle bells, tire flips, your heart will appreciate it.
